December 2020 till May 2023

EUR 2,507,081.25 €

The IP4MaaS project aims to advance the uptake of Mobility as a Service (MaaS) schemes by analyzing and testing technologies developed under the Innovation Programme 4 (IP4) of the Shift2Rail Joint Undertaking. IP4MaaS will conduct six demonstrations across Europe testing IP4 technologies in different contexts and will deliver a solid demonstration execution scheme that can be utilized by other projects. This project has received funding from the Shift2Rail Joint Undertaking under the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation program under grant agreement no. 101015492.

Work Package 3 leader: Methodological framework of IP4 demonstrations.

  • Develop a structured method to identify Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that are relevant for both TSPs (Transport Service Providers) and travelers. This includes updating the list of relevant KPIs as the project progresses to ensure they remain applicable.
  • Creating a systematic approach to classify user groups based on socio-demographic profiles, alongside defining criteria to identify critical user groups who have specific needs and expectations.
  • Establishing a methodology to evaluate the satisfaction levels of both travelers and TSPs after they use COHESIVE’s functionalities, ensuring feedback is accurately gathered and analyzed.
  • Implementing an AI based method to transform data on KPIs, as well as insights into the needs and expectations of travelers and TSPs, into actionable knowledge. This is achieved through the “Efficiency rate” concept, allowing data to directly inform service improvements and decision-making.
