Last 29th November, AITEC attended the Shift2Rail Brokerage Event organized in Strasbourg (France).

Shift2Rail fosters the introduction of better trains to the market and contributes to increase railway capacity among other objectives.

In this event, it was presented the new Funding Programme and information for the new open Calls. Moreover, AITEC participated in bilateral meetings (B2B) focused on research entities active in the railway sector and willing to find research partners as well as new business and technologies. El pasado 29 de noviembre, AITEC estuvo presente en el Brokerage Event de Shift2Rail organizado en Estrasburgo (Francia).

Shift2Rail fomenta la introducción de mejores trenes al mercado y contribuye a incrementar la capacidad ferroviaria entre otros objetivos.

En este evento se presentó el nuevo programa de Financiación así como información acerca de la nueva Convocatoria 2019. Además, AITEC participó en las reuniones bilaterales (B2B) enfocadas a entidades de investigación activas en el sector ferroviario y dispuestas a encontrar socios de investigación, así como nuevos negocios y tecnologías. Last 29^th and 30^th of October, AITEC, representing the DIAMOND project, took part in an Expert Workshops of the project DocksTheFuture (https://www.docksthefuture.eu/) hosted by APDL (Administração dos Portos do Douro, Leixões e Viana do Castelo) in the Port of Leixões.

DocksTheFuture intends to define the concept of the Port of the Future (2030), including concepts such as digitalization, emission reduction, energy transition, among others. During the workshop the experts shared knowledge and new concepts. AITEC presented the need of a major inclusion of women in the port of the future, aligned with the objective of DIAMOND project which pretends to increase insertion of women in the different areas related to transport. This proposal had a great acceptance by the attendants:

“Women in transport leaves no one indifferent, everyone has something to say about it.”

“Eager to see the results!”

El pasado 29 y 30 de octubre AITEC, representando el proyecto DIAMOND, participó en un taller de expertos del proyecto DocksTheFuture (https://www.docksthefuture.eu/) organizado por APDL (Administração dos Portos do Douro, Leixões e Viana do Castelo) en el puerto de Leixões.

DocksTheFuture busca definir el concepto de Puerto del Futuro (2030), incluyendo conceptos como la digitalización, reducción de emisiones, la transición energética, entro otros. El taller realizado busca compartir conocimientos y nuevos conceptos entre los asistentes.  AITEC planteó la necesidad de una mayor inclusión de la mujer en el puerto del futuro, alineado con el objetivo del proyecto DIAMOND en el que se pretende aumentar la inserción de las mujeres en las distintas áreas relacionadas con el transporte. Esta propuesta tuvo una gran aceptación por los asistentes:
