During the month of October it has been developed three coordination workshops for the implementation of the gADGeTs platform between potential cases of study, corresponding to the WP4 Cases of study of the second and last phase of the project. The workshops took place on October 15th, 18th and 25th in Valencia, Madrid and Barcelona respectively, ​​with good acceptance and participation by the attendees. During the workshop, the objectives of the project, the prototype of the developed Gadgets platform and the advantages that it offers were explained to the participants.

gADGeTs project is an European project developed by AITEC (Spain) and PRISMA (Austria) that tries to study a “single window” model that will increase the safety, security and efficiency of the dangerous goods transport, as well as the interoperability and the synchromodality, in an easily implementable and integrated version with the solutions already implemented in the companies. gADGeTs platform has 4 main modules: “Info-reading” for an automatic introduction of the data for each expedition, “Track&Tracing” for a discrete tracking of the freight in origin, destination and intermediate points,» Safety & security» for the management of necessary documentation for the transport of dangerous goods as well as the assignment of the most appropriate driver and vehicle for each expedition, and «Low-risk route» for the planning of the transport route looking for the route with lower risks (e.g. secure parkings, avoiding environmentally protected areas).

A lo largo del mes de octubre se han realizado tres talleres de coordinación para la implantación de la plataforma gADGeTs entre potenciales casos de estudio, correspondientes al WP4 de casos de estudio de la segunda y última fase del proyecto. Los talleres tuvieron lugar el 15, 18 y 25 de octubre en Valencia, Madrid y Barcelona, teniendo una buena aceptación y participación por parte de los asistentes. En  los talleres se explicaron los objetivos del proyecto, el prototipo desarrollado de la plataforma Gadgets y las ventajas que trata de reportar.

El proyecto gADGeTs es un proyecto Europeo ejecutado por AITEC (España) y PRISMA (Austria) que trata de estudiar un modelo de «ventana única» que incremente la seguridad, protección y eficiencia del transporte de mercancías peligrosas (MMPP), así como la interoperabilidad y la sincromodalidad, en una versión fácilmente implementable e integrable en las soluciones ya existentes en las empresas. La plataforma gADGeTs tiene 4 módulos principales: “Info-reading” para una introducción automática de los datos de las expediciones, “Track & tracing” para el traqueo discreto de la mercancía en origen, destino y puntos intermedios, “Safety & security” para la gestión de documentación necesaria para el transporte de las mercancías peligrosas así como la asignación de conductor y vehículo más apropiado para cada expedición, y “Low-risk route” para la planificación del transporte por rutas de bajo riesgo (ej. por parkings seguros, evitando zonas medioambientalmente protegidas, etc.).

El pasado Lunes 15 de octubre tuvo lugar en las instalaciones de AITEC (Valencia) el primer taller de coordinación para la implantación de la plataforma gADGeTs entre potenciales casos de estudio. En el taller se explicaron los objetivos del proyecto, el prototipo desarrollado de la plataforma Gadgets y las ventajas que trata de reportar.
