TERMITRANS 2010

Objectives:

AITEC is developing, with the financial support of IMPIVA and the Conselleria of Industria, Comerç and Innovació, an industrial investigation in collaboration of a terminus of transfer of containers of dangerous substances, characterized by the sustainability and the innovative character of the same one. It is a question of modeling, therefore, from the points of view of the safety, protection, environment, machinery and intelligent logistics a terrestrial terminus of tranferencia of containers of dangerous goods.

For it, AITEC, together with other specialized, such companies as JOFESA, LITEBI, IMEDES, FITOTRANS and companies of the logistic chemical sector, has developed an analysis, evaluation and selection that allows to value adequately the different alternatives of solution that they have found and proposed themselves on the basis of the knowledge analyzed finally to value, to select and to adapt the technological solutions better considered on the basis of the system of evaluation of solutions for his integration in the offer of terminus of transfer of containers of dangerous substances.

Aims:

 The aims that will be reached by means of this project are the following ones:

• Offer to the users a service for the transfer of containers of dangerous substances adapted to the current needs
• Reduce the environmental repercussion of this activity to ideal levels
• To take advantage of the opportunity of market that offers this activity in Spain and Europe, generating employment and benefits
• To be positioned as center of reference worldwide by the innovation and sustainability of the terminus
• Contribute to the development of the I+D+i inside the sector of the logistics and the transport of goods
• Increase the competitiveness of the logistic Valencian and Spanish industry and, of subsidiary form, of the chemical industry, on having facilitated the transfer of dangerous goods

The term of execution of this project is bianual during the exercises 2010 and 2011

 The results of industrial investigation of this project are directed to:

• The public Valencian Administration, and especially to the Conselleria of Industry, Trade and Innovation of the Valencian Autonomous
• The logistic chemical sector of the Valencian Community, composed by manufacturers, transporters, distributors and warehousemen
• To the whole industrial general sector that wants to use the above mentioned facilities
