Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is a way of managing companies based on the impacts that their activities can generate about their customers, employees, shareholders, local comunities, environment and society in general.

In the CSR field, the companies can perform many actions with the principal idea of improve, for example, the quality of working life, the environment, the responsible marketing or business ethics.

This can be achieved, for example:

  • Compliance with Laws
  • Development ethical codes
  • Establishing measures to support reconciliation of work and private life.
  • Establishing non-discrimination mechanisms
  • Impact Management
  • Trainning and awareness to workers about equality
  • Establishing mechanisms to avoid the corruption and bribery
  • Trainning to workers about environmental aspect associated with the manufacture of products

The application of CSR has a positive impact in company’s results. For this reason, should be taken into consideration when the goals are defined.
